Project Overview
The project required a focus on the highest standards of comfort, style, and sophistication to meet SAL's vision of empowering women. The design aimed to enhance their ability to feel both chic and effortlessly confident, creating a collection that was truly out of this world.
The goal of the collaboration with SAL was to design a streetwear fashion line that enables women to showcase their individuality with ease and sophistication. The aim was to create a stylish and innovative collection that promotes self-expression, blending comfort with a striking, otherworldly flair.
Collaborating with SAL, I set out to create a visual moodboard that would redefine how women express their style. The project required a thoughtful approach to design, ensuring every piece—from the fabric choices to the overall aesthetic—was meticulously crafted to meet the needs of modern women. My tasks included conceptualizing and creating designs, developing collections, and working on prototypes to ensure each item balanced style, comfort, and functionality. Working closely with the creative team, we aimed to blend bold designs with innovative fashion elements seamlessly. The result was a collection that not only meets but exceeds expectations, offering women a unique blend of chic, comfort, and out-of-this-world style.
Approach
Otherworldly Comfortable
The challenge of designing a streetwear fashion line required a fusion of creative vision and practical design. My approach combined these elements to create a collection that is not only stylish but also functional, offering women a unique blend of comfort and bold fashion.
I began with extensive research into current fashion trends and the needs of modern women, studying how they express themselves through style and what they seek in streetwear. This research informed the development of mood boards, sketches, and prototypes, ensuring the designs were both innovative and wearable. Collaborative sessions with the SAL team helped refine these concepts, aligning them with the brand’s vision and the collection's goals.
Process
My design process was a thoughtful balance of creativity, fashion innovation, and a deep understanding of modern women’s needs. Every stage, from concept to execution, was carefully planned to ensure the collection met the highest standards of style, comfort, and functionality.
The process began with creating detailed mood boards and sketches to capture the essence of the collection and understand the style preferences of modern women. This was followed by the development of initial designs and prototypes, incorporating feedback from trend research and target audience insights to refine and perfect each garment.
The collaboration with SAL culminated in a refined and functional streetwear collection that enables women to express their individuality with ease and sophistication. Every design element was meticulously crafted to offer an elegant experience, harmonizing comfort with bold, contemporary fashion in a manner that resonates with discerning taste.
Final Design
The culmination of in-depth research, artistic vision, and precise execution resulted in a chic and empowering streetwear collection. The designs surpassed SAL's expectations, establishing a new benchmark for fashion that combines elegance, comfort, and self-expression.
