Introduction

"Sinking Montréal" is an evocative work that explores the delicate intersection of beauty, self-expression, and the desire to let go. The Challenge

"Sinking Montréal" presented the challenge of capturing the deep emotional undertones of a city in turmoil, while also portraying the beauty and fragility of its inhabitants. The Solution

My approach embraced a balance of raw emotional storytelling and robust visual contrasts. Drawing inspiration from the city’s architectural decay and the timeless beauty of Montréal, I carefully chose a monochrome palette that allowed us to highlight the fleeting beauty of moments amidst the destruction.
